Bla Bla Bla – New + improved…

Bla Bla Bla…

I have recently joined facebook’s very own “The very boring group” (Which now I am banned from for not being boring enough), where I have posted that I can easily empathise with a dead chic, a seagul chic that is. For they go unnoticed and serve little purpose.

I came accross this dead chic...

I came accross this dead chic…

For these reasons I have Decided that laughter is the best medicine and I will be able to smile every now and then if I surround myself with enough funny stuff and things. So for some reason I have pledged to myself to only post things on here if they are in some way amusing (if only to myself). So do not worry about the stuff before as some of it is a bit weird and difficult. Such is my voice, peace out xXx

Previous About Me…

Hello, I am Matthew Churchill. I have been posting regularly on a local shared blog; the isca notebook used by people with mental health problems.

It appears I have been flooding this blog quite persistently, and thus not allowing the other people there to get their words in. So I will post mostly here now.

Lets go back in time to 1995ish…

My english gcse at age 13-15 was let down by my falling asleep, writing poetry instead of short stories, or poetic poetry reflection instead of write ups about war poetry. And doing my final exam analisys on “ten years in an open neck shirt” instead of shakespeare or whatever. Which was a book by john cooper clarke with swearing, blatent drug references and down beat attitudes towards the drudgery of a poets life. I found it interesting that he did not always use full stops and capital letters in the right places, yet had clout and passion to his reflective descent, although I was a bit too late for the era. Everyone else was taking drunks, drinking cider, getting off with girls, I was listening to radio two and writing poems about puss coming from vacination scabs and superheros who just wanted to die but could not. The book “Ten years in an open neck shirt” I found in my godmothers book collection when I visited her council flat not far from the new london theatre where aparently there was a show called “cats”. I read out my first and only public peformance of poetry at a club called bungees at age roughly 14, the pieces were about how boring washing up is and how toilet seats that do not stay up are “feminist toilet seats”. Aparently Bob dylan and John cooper clarke had peformed at the club many years before, when I got there they were selling awfull vegatarian food and were filled with acid casualties and traumatised bohemian loosers, I guess now they are my people now, my forefathers. That is all….

oh wait and…

If for some strange reason you wanna talk to me about anything you can email me on Matthew.exeter@gmail.com

I am crap at answering emails though, I will not add strangers on facebook as I do not want to be sacraficed to people who stare at triangles while chanting to satan and exchanging numbers of underage prostitutes in far away Asian countries…

    • Thanks, if you decide to do the same I need suggestions for digital effect chains in renoise and or linux software. My voice is slowly improving so it helps me communicate more clearly. I have noticed I do not pronounce “L’s and “T”s at the end of words. My voice will sound less depressed and flat after a while which is brilliant. I always thought that if you look or act a certain way then people will treat you a certain way. and you can instinctivly learn those ways.
Which does explain certain elements of people who lie. After realising this I found some respect for people I did not have before

  1. “Keep calm and wear odd socks” your Gravator says. I am TOTALLY there! Either by ‘strange’ socks or ‘singleton’ socks: Power to the Odd Socks and the feet that celebrate them! :-)

    • Although the majority of the time I wear odd socks, when every now and then I pull two socks out and they match, I perceive it as a good omen. I stole it from the internet

  2. Hey Matthew, thank you so much for following my blog. I absolutely loved what you wrote above. I would have been hanging out with the bohemians as well. I cracked up right from the start. Writing poetry and analizing “ten years in an open neck shirt” instead of sharkepeare and stuff and falling asleep in class. Priceless. I’m not familiar with Mr. Clarke’s work, but I’ll most definitely be checking it out. I’m into Dylan, too, as you probably already noticed and it was Jack Kerouac and his most unconventional “stream” writing style who really got me into writing. Beat, man. Beat. It’s 1:05 a.m. in the states so I must be going, but you better believe I’ll be back to check out your writing. Love the chalkboard theme, too. If I ever get back into writing poetry, I might just use it. Thanks very much and peace too you, my friend.

    • Thank you for your comments, they are most appreciated. I am sorry to say I have not heard of Jack Kerouac. I will google some lyrics or poems of him in a sec. I often read books of poetry from the library, however I rarely remember the names of the writers, I am much the same with music and film. All the best

  3. HI! Thank you for the follow, just know mine is a bilingual poetry blog, so if you get a notice about something written in Italian don’t give up, soon something in English will follow. Keep up the good work!

  4. Thanks for all the likes on friendly fairy tales, I’m glad you stopped by. I was reading through your posts, and I was impressed by how rhythmic and powerful your voice is. Like reading rap song lyrics. I like quirky, odd socks and free-flowing thoughts. Peace and Joy to you, Brenda

  5. Dear friend, Thank you very much, I was really happy to have been following your blog. I’m still a lot to figure out, and here I can only say that you are an awesome blogger, full Inspiring and hope you can inspire more readers. Thanks and greetings compassion from Gede Prama :)

  6. Hey! Your spelling sucks … your sentences are too long and some of your thoughts are random! I like it!

You’re obviously from another era to the one I grew up in, but there are distinct similarities – keep writing. Thanks for visiting on my side of the world.
